Entry #5: My response to "Ducey: Why Arizona needs more college grads"

Through out my personal educational experience, in my opinion, I came to the conclusion that the schooling system in the United States is a rip off and extremely over priced. Although many will disagree with my opinion, here's why I think that... First off I continued my education after high school in 2014. For the past three years I really cannot say I learned something that changed my life that I will always need and use. But then again this is my 4th year in school and I'm looking at about 7 more years. Most likely somewhere in the next years, I will stumble across a new learning experience.

Now, after reading Doug Ducey's thoughts about the toughest of why Arizona needs more college grads, I would not necessarily say I disagree with him. Yes, I still believe its a rip off and a big growing business, but I also still agree with him.

"Earning a certificate or degree, or both, after high school opens the door to countless economic opportunities". I defiantly believe that education equals opportunity today. With so many jobs out there, and a percentage amount of people graduation, of course the person with a degree or certification is most likely to find a job and be a better qualified candidate.

I defiantly agree with his statement, "The reality is that educated households have better long-term financial stability". Its true! Not necessarily for everyone, but for the majority yes it is.

Do I agree with what will happen is we reach 60%? Yeas and no. I think it would be ideal and good for the  economy and people, but I dont necessarily think it would be so easy. There is always a possibility, but then again 60% is a lot of people! That is a huge chunk of Arizona's population.

All in all, I think he has really good intentions and wants to best for Arizona and it's economy.

A small tortoise, such as the Russian tortoise can be housed indoors or outdoors depending on the climate you live in and they make great pets! Indoor Enclosure Depending on what kind of climate you live in, indoor enclosures may be the choice for you. The bigger the terrarium  is the better.  If you decide to keep your Russian tortoise indoors keep in mind the temperature should be in the range of 68 to 80 degrees. You can also purchase a substrate at your local pet store, but if your looking to keep costs at a minimum plain old dirt is

Entry #6: Adopt DON'T Shop!

We have all heard it and seen it, "Adopt Don't Shop". What does this mean and why are people so passionate about this slogan? When you buy from a local breeder you are actually supporting euthanizing at your local pounds. Ever animals that enters a no kill shelter has a time frame of how long they are going to keep the animal before euthanizing it and if they think the animal will be sold. When you purchase a and al from a 3rd party breeder, your decreasing other animals lives in shelters. 2.7 MILLION  adoptable cats and dogs are euthanized in the United States. Something great about adopting a animal is that not only are you saving a life, but this animal most likely comes micro chipped, spayed/ neutered, vaccinated, and possibly food. Animals at a shelter are happy and healthy pets who are just waiting for their human. But what is something that really sticks out? The price! The price for a fully vaccinated, spayed/neutured, and microchip pets is cheap! A breeder

Entry 11: Final Blog Reflection

The first day of class we were introduced to becoming a blogger and author. My first thoughts about this idea about blogging in a English 102 class was great. I was very excited for something different and new. Every English class is different but most are very similar. The idea that students create a blog and 50% of it is self generated topics was a wonderful idea. I enjoyed writing every single entry. My favorite was the self generated blogs. These were my favorite because it was a way I could express my personal opinion and share what interests me. Along with the self generated topics we has great topics that were instructed to us. All of them we were able to express in our own ways. No ones blog was at all similar. The topics may have been, but the views were all slightly different along with the content.  Blogging was completely new to me. I went in with a positive attitude and for now I am leaving with a positive attitude as well. At first I struggled with the simple aspects
